Transferring data from an old Android phone to a new one can be done in three ways: using Google Drive, a USB cable, or a dedicated transfer app.
Method 1: Transfer with Google Drive backup
Back up your old phone:
a. Go to Settings > Systems > Google > Backup.
b. Select Backup now.
On your new phone, during setup, choose Restore from Google Backup.
Sign in to your Google Account and follow the prompts to restore your data.
Method 2: Transfer with a USB cable
Use the original USB-C cable to connect both phones during setup.
Follow the on-screen instructions to select and transfer your data.
Method 3: Transfer with a dedicated app
Download a data transfer app on both devices.
Follow the app’s specific steps to move your files.
Tip: Backing up your old phone before starting is recommended for added security.
