Human Mobile Devices today unveiled the HMD Arc, a smartphone designed to empower users. Boasting an easy-to-repair design, a long-lasting battery, and camera modes to suit every moment, the HMD Arc sets a new standard for accessible technology.
Taking a phone to a repair shop can cost time and money. Users can save on both with HMD Arc, a smartphone that can be fixed at home due to its Gen1 repairability in markets with iFixit support1. The savvy iFixit solution allows users to replace parts such as pesky broken screens quickly from the comfort of their home. In regions where the iFixit kits are not yet available, the repairable design ensures that local service centres can restore the device quickly and efficiently.
HMD believes a phone’s price tag shouldn’t reflect its lifespan. With its powerful 5000mAh2 battery, users get up to 51 hours of battery life on a single charge3, so they can stay connected longer. Built to last, HMD Arc offers 800 charging cycles before any noticeable drop in battery capacity,4 ensuring reliable performance day after day. Whether it's streaming, browsing, or chatting, HMD Arc delivers all the power needed without the hassle of having to constantly go searching for a charger.

The HMD Arc camera is equipped with versatile Portrait and Night modes, alongside a suite of filters, to help users capture impressive photos in any setting. Whether it’s a low-light scene or a perfectly posed portrait, HMD Arc camera delivers with ease.

Powered by AndroidTM 14 (Go edition), HMD Arc offers a lightweight yet robust operating system. With quarterly security updates for 2 years5, the device ensures data stays safe while delivering a seamless performance. Giving the device that clever added boost to run smoothly, it's also supported by Virtual Memory that enhances multitasking by converting 2GB of storage into additional RAM6.

“The HMD Arc proves that affordability doesn’t mean compromise. With its lightweight build, essential features, and a focus on repairability and longevity, it’s the ideal choice for users seeking reliability without the big price tag.”

— Commenting on the launch of HMD Arc, Lars Silberbauer, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Human Mobile Devices (HMD), said.
