I’m trying to start a subscription, but I got a message saying that my application was declined. What can I do?

Our decision to hire out a device is based on the information provided by the credit reference agency TransUnion International UK Limited, One Park Lane, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS3 1EP, United Kingdom, and credit card verification by the card issuer. If HMD Global rejects your application even though you have provided accurate, truthful and complete data when placing the order, you can contact our support team for further information, but before doing so we recommend that you:

  • contact the card issuer to check if there is any issue with your card;
  • obtain a credit report in order to verify if there is a financial product mentioned there that you are no longer using or if there are any inaccuracies; and
  • check if your electoral register address is up to date.

Even if your application to subscribe to a device was rejected, you can still purchase the device of your choice. Just add the device to your basket and head to the checkout.
