Use your camera like a pro

Learn about your camera’s settings

In the Camera app, tap menu > Settings and then each setting to learn more about them.

Use the camera in Manual mode

With Manual mode, you can take close-ups or wide angle photos, and adjust the AWB (Auto White Balance). To try out Manual mode, tap Camera > menu > Manual.

Use Live Bokeh mode

If you want to be able to change the focus area of your photo after you have taken it, use the Live Bokeh mode when taking a photo.

  1. Tap Camera > menu > Live Bokeh.
  2. Tap panorama_fish_eye.
  3. Tap the photo you just took.
  4. Tap Bokeh Editor to edit your photo.

Take photos with a timer

Want to have time to get in the shot too? Try out the timer.

  1. Tap Camera.
  2. Tap alarm_off. The button shows the timer setting. To change it, tap it again.

Pick the best exposure

To change the exposure settings, in Manual mode, tap iso and choose the setting.
