My phone has not received an update that fixes the issue. What should I do?

The vast majority of Nokia 3.1 Plus software issues were resolved with an over-the-air update. However, for the few devices that did not connect to the internet while that update was being rolled out, a manual software update is needed.

Here is how you can check your software and manually update your phone:

  • Search for (app name) from the Google Play Store
  • Install the app
  • Install and SD card into your phone
  • Run the app
  • The app will first check if your software needs updating
  • If your software needs updating, the app will show you a set of instructions
